Mission and Purpose

In the simplest possible terms, the mission of HusbandHero™ is to create closer couples.

The family is the basic unit of civilization – A strong, loving family gives foundation to a vibrant, dynamic, and moral society. A committed and happy marriage is at the root of a strong, loving family. We can all make efforts to improve our own foundations by consistently investing in marriage and in our families.

HusbandHero™ is a simple service that reminds us to put the needs of our spouse before ourselves. In our (limited) experience, we have found that as either spouse does this, the relationship deepens and improves. There is a certain magic rekindled when a husband does something special (small as it may be) to serve and love his wife, and generally the wife’s inclination is to respond by doing something selfless and loving in response. If this pattern is repeated frequently over the course of weeks and months, it is almost certain that an increase in the strength of marriages and families will follow, and our homes, communities, and society will improve. Consequently, there will be a corresponding decline in the amount of neglect, abuse, separation, and divorce.

A great marriage, and the family that may be established through that marriage, are among the most treasured assets that can be built during our lifetimes. These assets, however, cannot be placed on a shelf, in a bank, or in a storehouse without attention and care. Marriage and family must constantly be attended, safeguarded, valued, and invested in for their strength and richness to increase.

We believe absolutely in the principles stated here. Marriage and family are important - more important than we may ever realize. We have within us the power to determine the strength, commitment, unity, and love found within our homes. Positive benefits arise from consistently cultivating these institutions and negative consequences result from neglecting them. These are simple yet timeless truths. Each of us has the choice, and we hope HusbandHero™ will be a resource to you in making your marriage and family all that you want them to be.
